Subject Matter: Zoo Animal Scavenger Hunt
Grade Level: 2nd Grade
Lesson Objective:
Learners will
demonstrate knowledge of/understanding of/ability to understand animals babies come in many different sizes. Some look like their parents when they are born and some have completely different characteristics than their parents. Students will learn the important role zoos have in helping to protect wildlife by doing research on
animals and the survival of their young.

Assessment: The students will gain knowledge about the animal, reptiles, and learn how to navigate through the web. They will also be able to find the answers, learn facts about the animal in question. This lesson would be great to introduce them to new animal classifications.
